High School English – at home

Hello, parents and students, I hope you all are doing well.  I believe during this time it’s most important that students keep their writing and reading skills strong. Student assignments for each week can be found in the course titles.

If your student does not have a home computer, tablet, or internet access, then these assignments can be completed with paper and pencil, and they can be picked up at the high school. I have also left master copies of each class’s assignments and work for this week in my classroom, and Mr. Calavan or Mr. Meeks will make copies for you. You can take a photo of your completed work and email to me, just to verify that you completed it.

I also think it is important that students continue to read while at home, so students read for a minimum of two hours per week. Below you will find a link to the Stillwater Public Library online reading. After you click the link below, follow these directions: On the right side of the library page below, click "EBook App Instructions." Read the Libby App Instructions completely, download the app, and start reading: http://stillwater.lib.ok.us/

I also found another wesite with free downloadable books and short stories: https://freeditorial.com/

Students, if you have internet access, then you can login to Google Classroom, where your assignments can also be found.  Specific login information is listed on your class page.

Students if you can access IXL, but you can’t remember your login, then email me, and I will send you your IXL login information.
