Think Central

This link gives you access to our Journeys book with the stories that go with the Readers Notebook.

Week 6 Lesson 27 story: "The Dog that Dug for Dinosaurs”.

AR

Students can access AR (Accelerated Reader) and take quizzes during this distance learning time at home due to school closures.

Epic

This website is an excellent resource for accessing books online. The students can choose to listen or read stories from all genres of literature. They can even read AR books from here. We have used this all year and students access this site using our class code: brm2056.

IXL

This website is a great resource to practice grade level skills with aligned standards in language arts, math, science, and social studies. 

 I have assigned lessons under (recommendations) for your child to work through.

MobyMax

This website covers many different skills such as math, fact fluency, language arts, writing, science and social studies.

Mystery Science

This website is a great resource which offers lessons that inspire kids to love science.

VocabularySpellingCity

This fun game-based learning site offers engaging vocabulary, spelling, phonics, and writing activities to build reading comprehension that go along with our weekly list of words. Myon

The website by Renaissance gives students access to more than 6,ooo enhanced digital books. Titles are dynamically matched to each individual student’s interest, grade and reading level. Many have AR tests.

A great online resource of reading passages and lessons for improving reading comprehension.

Storyline Online

This is a wonderful literacy website which provides storytelling with interactive videos and resources to foster a love of reading in children.

GoNoodle

A fun online resource full of movement and mindfulnes videos, brain breaks, and interactive activities to help kids achieve more by keeping them  engaged and motivated throughout the day.

TypeTastic

This website has more than 700 TypeTastic games, keyboarding curriculum and activities perfect for keeping students entertained!

Oklahoma State Dept. of Education

Thie website is Oklahoma State Dept. of Education’s support website for distance learning containing family guides for Pre-K thru 6th Grade.

Scholastic Learn at Home

This website is one of my favorites! Scholastic has engaging mini units each week which reinforce reading, vocabulary, comprehension skills, science, social studies, and offer interactive book extensions.
